Sony has demonstrated a prototype of fully wireless headphones designed to be used in conjunction with the PlayStation 5 game console .
The development of this model has been going on for a long time under the code name Project Nomad. The design of the earphones is clearly inspired by the shape of the PS5, as is the appearance of the charging case. At the moment, the company has not disclosed either the technical characteristics of the novelty or its official name, it is only known that the headphones will go on sale towards the end of 2023.
From what can be seen in the above photos, the presence of a physical volume control key attracts attention, which is rarely seen on TWS headphones. Also noteworthy is the presence of a separate button, probably designed to activate the SIE data transfer protocol, which was first used in this model. It promises low signal delay and virtually no compression during its transmission.
